Hot Mess Burgers and Fries

So freaking delicious. I recommend getting a freeze as well as the delicious, messy burgers. My only wish is that I didn't get so full from the gigantic burger that I can't eat enough of their fantastic fries. It's amazing how a food truck can make you feel so welcomed and taken care of. The staff, as well as the owner, are so friendly and warm. I wish I lived closer so I could go all the time.

We drove an hour out of our way to eat at Hot Mess, and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the owners are so incredibly kind and generous. If you’re anywhere in Washington state, make a point of visiting Hot Mess! You will not be disappointed.

Huge burgers with good meat buns. Overall fantastic vibes, too; very Pride-heavy (yay!) and was playing some 2000s rock on a speaker. There were a bunch of flies near the benches, but there's not a lot that can be done about that, ha.

Ok, so first of all, 5 stars isn't even nearly enough for this fantastic lil gem. After months of following nearly every post on fb, I finally was able to make the hour and 20-minute drive to this little truck of heaven. I was so excited to try the special of the week, The Lord of the Onion rings. Apparently, so was everyone else because it was so out(i was looking forward to the huckleberry bbq sauce). As I stared at the menu in secret panic mode(like I didn't know it by heart from constantly drooling over it on my phone several times a day for months ) I ordered the boring mess and fries. While waiting for my food, I was trying not to fangirl cause Chef ben said he liked my hoodie, then when he called name and handed me my order, I thought, did he give me the wrong order? The bag was so heavy, but nope, it was my boring mess and fries, now I don't know why they call it a boring mess cause late tell you it was anything but boring the way everything just synchronized when I bit into the burger, the soft airy bun, the hot juicy patty, the cheese and cool crisp veggies and THE SAUCE!! Oh, the sauce was delicious! I would give this place 1000 stars. I will definitely be back, and I'm bringing some friends. Sorry my pictures don't do justice for the food .

Delicious food, and enough of it for 2-3 meals, plus food service and changing menus. I love that they make their own buns and cheese and source local ingredients! Definitely my go-to "fast food" in Kennewick. And despite being fried, the Muthaclucka (see pic) isn't greasy or heavy at all. I love it!

The food is delicious! Restaurant quality dishes from a food truck! With their homemade buns, cheese, and ketchup they are definitely a step above the rest. The dill pickle chicken strips are the best chicken strips I've ever had! Their homemade soups and messy melt are my go to cold/grey day food. The staff are all lovely people. I've never had a bad experience here.

The hype is indeed REAL here folks. My group of buddies and I stopped by to take a break from the Lucky Leprechaun Pub Crawl (an INSANE amount of people at the event). Buns made from scratch everyday and they have some delicious menu options to choose from. I got the Hot Mess, which had cheese, lettuce, grilled jalapeno and onions. It lived up to its name because that thing was MESSSYYY! I don’t mind licking my fingers and looking like a weirdo in public because their “fire sauce” that came on the burger was phenomenal and indeed, very finger licking good! The flavor of the beef and toppings were delicious and the buns were so soft that I wish I savored the burger a little longer by taking my time with it. I devoured the whole thing, which was an insane portion and one of the biggest smash burgers ever given to me, in just a few bites. I will 1000% come back to this establishment because their smash-burgers are top tier and will be recommending everyone to come and have some of their delicious food! Not a lot of places bake their own burger buns anymore either. The guy working that day was also very kind to our group as well! Thank you so much for serving us and we’ll be back soon!

The service and atmosphere were of the highest level. The food was also amazing. My wife got the chicken strips and they were cooked incredibly well. My son and I got burgers that were also great. I'm not sure what type of bun it came on, but I know I liked it. The burgers themselves were so good. They have a really interesting sauce on it that works great with fries as well. Honestly, peak tier place.
